#bellaapproved

What’s the best way to get a storyteller telling stories?

Give her a project with a running theme.

OK, well, that’s what I hope is going to work for me anyway.

As I’ve been wandering around Eastern Washington and North Idaho, taking dog photos and getting to know you, I’ve thought about ways to share more of what I see with you.

I’ve come up with … drum roll, please … the #bellaapproved series.

With this adorable stamp:

The illustration of a sleepy Bella is the work of my good friend Chelsea Klukas, a brilliant artist and designer.

I sent her one of my images and voila! The perfect logo.

What does it mean?

It’s no secret.

Bella is my best friend.

My four-year-old Maremma sheepdog goes with me wherever and whenever … as long as it’s appropriate.

Too hot in the summer? She stays home if I have to stop and go inside anywhere.

Out on a session with you and your dog? She stays home so you can have my full attention.

But out and about exploring Spokane, Coeur d’Alene and all around, scouting for locations and testing new gear or tricks?

She’s right by my side. Or in front of the camera, of course! She’s my perfect model … I mean, look at those eyes. It’s like she spends hours in front of the mirror perfecting her eyeliner.

But, no, it’s not Maybelline. She was born with it!

The stamp of approval

Bella and I hope you follow along as we discover new-to-us spots and gear and more in the greater Spokane area, giving them the #bellaapproved stamp of approval.

If you have somewhere or something you’d like us to investigate, drop us a note and we’ll make sure we check it out.
