It’s here! It’s here! It’s finally here!
We had a pretty green Christmas in Spokane, and that just didn’t sit well with this born and raised Canadian.
I grew up in a land far, far away where we’d have winters with snow banks up to the top of the telephone poles.
So, a white Christmas is kind of a necessity.
You know … just like Bing Crosby, a Spokanite, sang:
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
We had to settle for a dusting on Christmas Eve, what my friends in Newfoundland, Canada, call a “skiff.”
Bella and I rushed off to Mirabeau Point Park, a Spokane Valley spot where I’ve done several dog photography sessions.
So naturally, it’s #bellaapproved.

We were even treated to a brief snowfall, but it quickly turned to rain.
And by Christmas morning, all the snow was gone.
More to come
As I sit here tip-tapping away on my keyboard, we’re expecting another snowfall this afternoon.
I couldn’t be more excited!
What’s more fun than playtime in the snow with your dog?
Check out these two West Highland White Terriers I had a photography session with before Christmas. Their mama loved this composite where I “faked” the snow.

A perfect Christmas card
Let’s get together for snow fun with your dog!
I’m available for quick bookings with a winter session fee of $149 that includes a $50 print credit toward your wall art.
